– Æ!Frisk
Frisk (Also known as Fern, AccidentalError!Frisk/Æ!Frisk) is an AU Frisk created by Jotanes.
They became "AccidentalError!Frisk" after an unfortunate accident caused by a Glitch hole. Got trapped in a dark strange space infiltrated by mysterious liquids (Glitch liquids) and fused with it (The mind is not), becoming ‘AccidentalError!Frisk’ (named by CORE!Frisk). Every time their lv is above 20, Chara will replace them.
Their current purpose is an adventure to explore new knowledge with no end point until they completely disappear or get bored. They want to discover new things, and concepts that have never been encountered, and expand their understanding.
Biography[]
(Rework in Progress)
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Fern has a body and outfit that are completely and absolutely black, without any light reflection. The image of Fern on this wiki is when they have their arms crossed, so the arms cannot be seen as they are perfectly blended with the absolute black of their body. Fern has a bob haircut that goes from their neck to near their shoulders, and it cannot be trimmed. Additionally, Fern has no shadow.
There are two large holes in the middle of their neck and left shoulder, leaking a small amount of glitch liquid when they move their neck, and spraying out more when they strain their neck. These two holes are the only ones capable of oozing out the glitch liquid. Fern's outfit consists of a large round-neck sweater, jeans, and toe-loop sandals, all of which are also absolutely black. Their clothes are also part of their body.
Fern is currently completely obscured by glitch effects, causing severe visual limitations and making their true appearance unviewable to anyone. These glitch effects make Fern very difficult to interact and communicate with their surroundings. Gently waving their hand to brush them away will help reduce the error effects and provide better visibility. The glitch effects around Fern constantly emit extremely ear-piercing glitch noises, but sometimes they subside, possibly due to Fern's willpower being relatively high.
When Fern loses and regenerates body parts, the glitch effect will not appear on the newly regenerated part for a short period of time before returning. Fern's surrounding glitch effects can also randomly malfunction and alter the statistics of anyone in direct contact with them.
When controlling glitch liquids is easier, Fern often turns them into large tentacles on their back. Fern imitates Corrupted!Nightmare's tentacles. For what purpose? To be cool. But they have to constantly concentrate to keep them in tentacle form on their back.
Fern frequently undergoes random and chaotic changes to their appearance, clothing, and weight, but these only vibrate, shake, and continuously glitch-transform at a mild level.
Sometimes Fern's appearance shifts to random ages, up to a maximum of 19 years old. The image of Fern on the wiki is when they appear 3 years old and without glitch effects, which may not accurately reflect their current state. Fern's clothing always automatically resizes to fit when their appearance changes.
Personality[]
Fern is a friendly and kind person, always ready to help. They do not discriminate and do not care about appearances, focusing only on nature and character. For some reason, they almost always have their eyes closed, only slightly opening them to see.
They are very optimistic, extroverted, energetic, emotional, and highly adaptable to everything, with strong willpower and determination. Fern not only maintains their determination and will in the face of negative emotions, but they also know how to use all kinds of emotions to enhance the strength of their determination and will.
Fern is very self-aware and understands themselves well, knowing their values, beliefs, motives, and limits. They always uphold their values and ethical principles, not easily persuaded to do wrong by others except themselves. They often question, argue, and demand explanations when receiving information until they understand. They are always steadfast in pursuing their personal goals.
Fern has a basic knowledge of English and is always eager to learn and improve. They enjoy traveling/adventuring, exploring, and do not overthink before acting.
Fern can be attracted and interested in everything to the extent that Chara finds them very peculiar, not because they value appearance or gender, but because they only cherish and care about the beauty in the nature and character of a person, regardless of who they are or even what species/creature they are (at least Fern does not violate laws or ethical systems).
Fern wants others to call them by the pronouns “They/them” after becoming aware of the diversity of gender concepts and corresponding pronouns. The main reason is that they want to create a more “mysterious” image of themselves by claiming (falsely) to be non-binary and asking others to call them by non-gender-specific pronouns.
Abilities[]
Stress And Mental Health Management Skills[]
Fern has the ability to maintain optimism, perseverance, determination, and mental health in any difficult circumstances. They can strengthen their emotions after a personal argument.
Resistant To Loud Noise[]
Fern might be slightly unaffected by extremely loud sounds, possibly not getting dizzy or having a headache because of them. Fern says they acquired this ability thanks to Carmen.
Culinary Skills With Meat[]
Fern has the skill to cook delicious meat dishes. They are able to prepare meat dishes from various types of meat such as beef, pork, lamb, and especially chicken.
Pain Resistance[]
Fern can resist most pain because they have adapted to it almost completely.
Glitch Spots! / Guritchi Bakuhatsu![]
Every time they use this ability/skill/phenomenon, they will shout out the name of the ability/skill/phenomenon.
Fern can create glitch spots by tensing any part of their body. The stronger and longer the tension, the faster and larger the glitch spot becomes. They can control these glitch spots with their willpower, but the level of willpower required to control each glitch spot is random and not uniform.
When a glitch spot touches an opponent, the opponent will be surrounded by a glitch effect, the density and intensity of which depend on the initial size of the glitch spot. The opponent will experience: continuous appearance distortion randomly and glitchy, memory disruption, varying degrees of control over their actions depending on the initial size of the glitch spot - Fern can also control them by willpower at a random request level, and Glitch Causality. When the glitch effect around them disappears, they will no longer experience these effects.
Glitturia Physiology[]
Fern possesses a paradoxical and contradictory physiological structure, which they call “Glitturia”. This physiology is formed from the Glitch liquid and solid, devoid of a brain, and containing only Glitch liquid within their body. However, they still can see, hear, speak, smell, and even experience a range of sensations, including pain or hunger, and move normally despite lacking bones. Fern also possesses capabilities of the Glitch solid due to their physiological composition. The Æ versions also possess this physiological structure, but they have internal organs like the liver, bones, or brain (if the original version has them), or only some of them. They can control their limbs if they are severed.
Regeneration[]
Fern can regenerate their appearance/body and soul/mind from the glitch liquid or solid (As long as glitch liquid or solid exists anywhere, and possibly at any point in time or timeline) when they completely disappear due to water, instantly. If they vanish due to water but not entirely if some part of their appearance still exists (such as a finger, debris from clothing, etc.), they can even regenerate from it. This regenerative ability/phenomenon typically prioritizes regeneration from the Glitch liquid. Fern can also regenerate from Æ versions. The form of regeneration from Æs is within those ÆVs, as they contain glitch liquid and most are regenerated from ÆVs. However, Fern may lose some memories after regeneration, or sometimes lose none at all. If Fern completely disappears by water and then regenerates with glitch liquid somewhere, their posture after regenerating is to lie down with both arms and legs raised. If they lose their entire arm, their regenerated arm will be raised, while their leg will be raised straight forward.
If the appearance/body of the ÆVs completely disappears due to water and nothing remains, they will be truly erased and cannot be regenerated from the Glitch liquid or solid like Fern.
Glitchy Voice[]
When Fern speaks, their sentences are usually accompanied by loud glitch noises with jumbled sounds. For example, they try to say 'hello' but it comes with loud jumbled sounds, not providing enough information for the listener to understand what they want to convey. And when Fern screams/shouts, their scream can cause the accompanying Glitch noise to be buffed up to a level that can shatter glass within a very wide range. The loud Glitch noise can cause temporary glitches to everything within its range of influence, causing them to be surrounded by constantly changing glitch lines, and fixing molecules and matter, causing them to stop functioning until Fern’s screams/shouts stops. Their screams/shouts can cause a space/dimension to shake in glitch style, such as the Anti-Void.
Change Appearance[]
Fern can manipulate and adjust their appearance shape because their appearance is made of solid Glitch, which they can manipulate. Fern can extend their arms (along with their sleeves) from the surface of the Earth into the air in 34 seconds and can create a maximum of 7 arms on their torso, with 7 sleeves appearing for these arms on their elbow. They can also create 6 tentacles on the back of the shirt (Can only be placed on the back of the shirt because if they put it on the back of the shirt, the shirt will block the tentacles and this shirt is very thick or absolutely thick).
Glitch Mind[]
The mind of Fern or Chara sometimes experiences unwanted glitches, creating both negative and potentially positive changes for them. They may go through fluctuations in time perception, making them feel as if everything is happening too quickly or too slowly. Their thinking speed can also change abruptly, increasing significantly or decreasing surprisingly. They may have to face the possibility of their memory or recall being randomly and unpredictably impaired or disrupted. They may also experience sudden and unrelated emotions or feelings. And there are many more consequences. But if they are determined, this can be reduced.
Random Appearance Transformation[]
Ferns regularly experience random changes in their appearance (including their clothing) and weight at random intervals, which are chaotic and unpredictable. Fern's image on this wiki article 'may' not be accurate to their current status. But sometimes, their appearance returns to their original appearance, but at random ages between 1 and 21. And the image of Fern's appearance on the wiki article is when they are returned to their 12 year old appearance and without the Glitch effect surrounds and it 'might' be accurate.
Wrong Direction[]
When Fern tries to move in a specific direction, they will be moved in the opposite direction or another direction by Glitch but sometimes Fern can move in the direction they want to go normally. And Fern can use on opponents by looking at them.
Undetermined Existence[]
Fern exists in an undefined/undetermined state, and cannot be considered alive, dead, immortal, or undead.
The Glitch Substance[]
Fern possesses and contains a special substance known as ‘Glitch Substance’, which includes two forms: Glitch Liquid and Glitch Solid, and ‘Glitch Substance’ is the collective term for both forms. When Fern tenses their neck muscles, Glitch Liquid continuously flows from two holes located in the middle of Fern’s neck and left shoulder. These two holes lead to an entire space, filled with an infinite amount of Glitch Liquid. Occasionally, Fern vomits a large amount of glitch liquid.
Glitch Substance is absolutely absolute black, surrounded by numerous small 2D rectangles of different sizes and colors (Glitch effects). Glitch Substance seems to have a mind, but its mind is absolutely unpredictable, constantly changing, chaotic, and does not follow any rules or patterns (Except for its personal system of rules/laws).
Glitch Substance possesses and obeys only its own personal system of metaphysical (including systems of concepts, rules/laws, logic, etc.), and completely transcending/unaffected by any other logic/reasoning, rules/laws, etc. For instance, Glitch liquid does not solidify or vaporize when the temperature changes, but rather maintains its liquid state at any temperature or pressure. It only becomes solid due to its own influence or that of Fern/Chara, and this also applies to Glitch solid. The capabilities, phenomena and states of Glitch Substance and itself can only be fully utilized and controlled/manipulated by Fern/Chara, but the level depends on their will and determination. Glitch Substances also can autonomously use and control/manipulate its capabilities, phenomena, states and itself at a random level.
The Glitch Solid or Liquid is not a collection of microscopic material particles such as atoms or molecules. When observed closely with instruments, one can only detect the presence of smaller Glitch Solids or Liquids instead of atoms, without identifying any other fundamental components. Regardless of the scale, from micro to macro, Glitch Solid or Liquid consistently displays a self-similar pattern, where each part, whether large or small, reflects the entire overall structure. The viscosity of Glitch liquid randomly changes over random time. At any time, Fern or Chara can manipulate the Glitch Substance even within each other's mind worlds.
Capabilities/States/Phenomena[]
Status Transformation[]
Glitch Liquid sometimes randomly transitions between liquid and solid states. This transition does not occur across the entire volume of the liquid, but instead happens inconsistently with only a portion or a lesser amount of the total volume. The sections of the liquid that solidify appear randomly on the surface or within the bulk of the liquid. The transition occurs unpredictably, changing continuously without any discernible pattern. Glitch Solid behaves similarly. Fern typically maintains a consistent solid state, without any transitions. However, when Fern focuses their willpower and determination to a high degree, they can cause themselves to transition into a liquid state.
Penetrates Everything[]
The Glitch Substance sometimes penetrates everything, and it only stops penetrating everything after a random period of time, and the same thing also happens with Fern. Sometimes, Fern can pass through everything in a random period of time and this can cause Fern to get stuck inside what it passes through, such as the ground, floor, or wall.
Glitch Flash! / Guritchi Furasshu![]
Glitch Flash is a phenomenon that causes distortions and glitches in space-time, occurring upon strong collisions with Glitch solids. It produces electric-like sparkles of irregular and random sizes, shapes, and colors. The scope of its influence depends on the level of physical impact of a certain source with the Glitch solid. This phenomenon can also affect Fern. Every time they attack, such as punching or kicking their opponent hard and creating this phenomenon, they will shout out the name of this phenomenon before or after punching.
Both Tangible And Intangible[]
The Glitch Substance can sometimes be simultaneously both intangible and tangible, being able to make or attack physical contact with anything while anything cannot touch or attack the Glitch Substance or Fern, even while Fern or the Glitch Substance is making physical contact.
Image/Sprite Lock[]
There are times when the physical image of the Glitch Substance (including the Glitch effects around it) locked, while their physical can move freely. For example, others may see Fern standing still, but in reality, they is moving or is in a different place nearby, without anyone seeing them except for their locked physical appearance there.
The Code Obscured[]
Fern's code and code of the Glitch Substance is absolutely obscured and hidden by Glitches, to the extent that anyone trying to view the code cannot see anything from them.
Multi-Image/sprite[]
Sometimes there are countless physical images of the Glitch Substance and/or Fern around the Glitch Substance and/or Fern actually.
Paradox Existence & Paradox Immunity[]
The existence of the Glitch Substance is absolutely paradoxical and contradictory, and it is immune to any contradictions and paradoxes.
Slow/Fast[]
Glitch liquid and Fern sometimes get glitches, causing them to move faster (or slower) than normal.
Glitched-Presence[]
The Glitch Substance or Fern presence can be removed from the random individuals around them after Fern emits a scream/shout, and this process is reset each time they scream/shout. The presence of Glitch Substance or Fern can have a significant impact (Or sometimes not) on other events in the reality they are in, the probability of various events can fluctuate and change unpredictably. The presence of them can sometimes create irregularities and anomalies (in an error/glitch style) occurrences wherever they appear randomly, at a random range/scale and reset every random time. ở một phạm vi/quy mô ngẫu nhiên và đặt lại mỗi khoảng thời gian ngẫu nhiên.
Occasionally, after activating Glitch Teleportation and Glitch Causality, the Glitch Substance or Fern can exist simultaneously at any random location, place, and time they have ever been or will go to. Each simultaneous existence of Fern carries its unique memories and experiences since it first appeared. When two simultaneous existences/presences of Fern meet and interact, they will merge into a new simultaneous existence/presence of Fern. This new simultaneous existence/presence will possess all the unique new memories and experiences that the two previous simultaneous existences/presences have gone through.
Rarely, during regeneration, Fern can regenerate within themselves at a different random time and location, place. But for the sake of clarity, let's call the Fern that regenerated within themselves as Fern A, and the other Fern as Fern B. This leads to Fern A merging with Fern B, and the two becoming a new Fern that possesses all the memories of both Fern A and Fern B previously. This means the new Fern may have new memories that Fern A had but Fern B didn't or vice versa, while also retaining the memories that both previously had. New Fern can also appear in two other ways: When Fern at a time and location or place is completely erased by water, and then regenerate as a liquid or solid glitch or themselves at a random time and location or place.
ÆVersion! / Ēbājon![]
When Glitch Solid comes into contact with any object such as a physical entity/creature, or an object, as long as they are not larger than it, it will transform and become a random copy version of them, called The ÆV (The Accidental Error Version or Artificial Entity). The ÆV owns random aspects/codes of the original that were previously directly exposed (The longer the original is in direct contact with the Glitch solid, the more aspects/codes of their AE version once created will resemble the original). The size of the ÆV depends on the original size of the Glitch Solid.
When any entity/creature or object comes into direct contact with Fern. This phenomenon can lead to two outcomes: Nothing happens: Sometimes, there is no observable effect when coming into contact with Fern. Glitch liquid spray: In other cases, when in contact with Fern, two holes in the middle of the neck and the left shoulder will continuously spray Glitch liquid until enough mass is accumulated to transform into an Æ version of the entity/creature or object that has directly contacted Fern. Every time they direct contact their opponent and creating the ÆV of them, they will shout out the name of this phenomenon before or after direct contact.
- ÆV Appearance: The ÆV has an all-absolutely black appearance with a fairly minimal Glitch effect all around.
- ÆV Abilities: The ÆV have the capabilities/states/phenomena of the Glitch Substance, and they cannot manipulate the Glitch Substance. The ÆV entities/creatures may randomly possess some or more of the powers and abilities/capabilities of the original. The stats of the ÆV Entities/Creatures are similar to Fern's stats, glitched and randomly changing over random times.
- Fern's Abilities Against ÆV: Fern can telekinesis ÆV (Entities/creatures or objects) with their mind. They can change the appearance of the ÆV at will by concentrating their thoughts, visualizing a certain appearance they want the ÆV to become, and then touching that ÆV, it will transform into the appearance that Fern had thought about it before. Fern can make an ÆV creature/entity perform actions that Fern wants by imagining in detail the appearance of the creature/entity that they want, causing it to perform a specific action in their mind, and then the ÆV creature/entity will perform exactly the action Fern thought of.
Absorption[]
When anything comes into direct contact/changes or alterations affect the glitch liquid, the glitch liquid will immediately cling absolutely tightly to that thing. This results in the glitch liquid locking that thing's status and absolutely randomly absorbing, corrupting, or causing malfunctions in the codes, data, files, sounds, images/sprites, status, behavior, classes, methods, etc (in random any type) of that thing. Regardless of that thing actions or nature. Except for things bigger than the glitch liquid. The absorption speed is random and unpredictable, and the volume of the glitch liquid will gradually increase.
The only known method to erased the glitch liquid is to use water. If the glitch liquid is teleporting randomly while clinging to a thing, that thing will also be teleported. In some cases, the corruption or malfunction caused by the glitch liquid can trigger a chain reaction, leading to the destruction of other aspects. After a random period of time, the glitch liquid will detach from that thing.
Immutability and Weakness[]
Any changes or alterations that would alteration or change the state or existence of the Glitch Substance and Fern (and their soul) are absolutely and utterly blocked by an ‘Error’, regardless of origin or cause, except when initiated by themselves. Error message 400, both invisible and tangible, will appear right at the source of the change or alteration. However, sometimes there are no exceptions, meaning the ‘Error’ can block and absolutely deny even the changes or alteration from the Glitch Substance, and Fern themselves, absolutely lock them.
Water is the deadly weakness of the Glitch Substance and Fern. When they come into direct contact with water, the parts they touch begin to melt and turn into glitched pixels. These pixels then drift in the direction of the wind or sometimes in a random direction, before gradually disappearing. For example, when Fern’s finger touches the water, it begins to melt and turns into glitched pixels. These glitched pixels then drift in the direction of the wind or a random direction until they completely disappear.
Glitch-Distortion[]
The Glitch substance, Fern - whenever they experience an emotional outburst or explosion, and their soul, sometimes can distort, twist, warp, bend, or fold and causing errors, shaking (in a glitching-like manner), glitches, and malfunctions randomly anything around them in scale, range, and intensity. Not limited to ordinary matter, it also affects/impacts energy, space, time, and even other spatial dimensions.
The scope of this influence can unpredictably/randomly vary, ranging from impacting/affecting a single or multiple objects, regardless of size, to impacting/affecting the entirety or only a random part of the AU they are in, as well as randomly its timelines, or even affecting other AUs and their timelines randomly.
It doesn’t stop at the physical. This can also impact/affect abstract metaphysical concepts such as logic, definitions, information, identity, laws/rules, etc. However, the Out!Codes are not affected by these changes at the mental/mind level, meaning they retain knowledge of what has been changed, such as concepts or information.
Fern can decide the scale, range, and intensity of this, and have the ability to restore the effects they have caused by focusing their will and determination.
Glitch Loop Status[]
Sometimes, Glitch Substance and Fern can get stuck in a Glitch loop state. When they are performing a certain action, such as moving to a different position or raising their hand, they may glitch, causing them to return to their original position suddenly. They may be stuck in this state continuously for a random period of time.
For example, when Fern is trying to grab an object with their left hand, their left hand may suddenly glitch and return to the starting position. Similarly, when Glitch Substance (Liquid or solid) teleports randomly, it may also encounter a glitch. As a result, despite having teleported, it glitches back to the starting point, as if its teleportation never occurred.
Glitch Teleportation! / Guritchi Terepōtēshon![]
Sometimes, the Glitch Substance experiences violent glitch-like distortions, then is instantly teleported randomly to any location, place, or time within the boundary of the Undertale Multiverse.
When Fern/Chara encounters a chaotic situation, feels chaotic, or exerts a strong full-body strain, they will undergo a similar. Fern will shout Glitch Teleportation! / Guritchi Terepōtēshon! every time they teleport.
Their soul also experiences a similar, but continuously and endlessly.
Glitch Causality[]
Sporadically, the cause or effect of the Glitch Substance or Fern may glitch, can manifest at random points in time, either in the future or the past or one of them may be delayed, defying the conventional sequence of causality. The temporal appearance of these causes and effects is unpredictable, with no logical connection, allowing them to occur out of their typical chronological order.
Glitch substance or Fern sometimes experiences delayed causality. When the cause is delayed, the result will appear before they create it. Or when the result is delayed, it not appear for a random period of time.
Stats[]
- LV: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
- HP: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
- ATK: This index changes every random period of time.
- DEF: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
- SPE: This index changes every random period of time.
- EXP: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
- NEXT: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
- Gold: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
- Kill: This index changes every random period of time. (Useless)
Indices such as lv, hp, atk, def, exp, and gold constantly change at random intervals due to glitches, and each time they change, they will shake violently and change to another number.
- What will happen when Fern is replaced by Chara and vice versa?: When Fern is replaced by Chara, they will transition into a vague white space, which they believe to be Chara’s ‘mind world’ (That's their theory). Similarly, when Fern returns, Chara will appear in the white space that Fern refers to as their mind world. In this space, they can hear and perceive Chara’s thoughts and emotions, but this can sometimes disappear. Because both can hear each other’s thoughts, Fern can communicate and connect with Chara through thought. They can see and hear images, sounds, and videos in Chara’s thoughts, and conversely, Chara is similar to Fern. Sometimes, Chara sees a glitch hole making noise in Fern's mind world. The closer she gets, the louder it becomes. Looking into it, she sees everything inside is malfunctioning, glitches and chaotic, and then the glitch hole disappears. When asked, Fern says they didn't think/create that.
Soul[]
The soul of Fern has fused with their galaxy, creating a miniature soul that contains the galaxy, constantly flickers in red and black, with shifting yellow and blue edges. It's surrounded by glitch effects, and occasionally, the soul leaks a few drops of glitch liquid. Some parts of it are blurred into small or medium-sized pixels. Sometimes, it spasms with glitches and then returns to its initial state. The souls of other Æ versions are similar but have a difference compared to Fern's soul. The distinction lies in the fact that the souls of other Æ versions haven't fully fused with any galaxy.
This soul isn't fixed within Fern's body; instead, it is continuously randomly teleported. Occasionally, it returns temporarily to their body, but only because it was submerged in water and disappeared. The glitch liquid inside Fern's body restores it, and then it instantly teleported randomly again. This soul has an unlimited connection to Fern. When Fern no longer has this soul, they lose all emotions, including willpower and determination.
The soul containing this galaxy has been determined to be a separate alternate universe (AccidentalErrorTale). Fern named their universe AccidentalErrorVerse or AEVerse for short and found that the name sounded cool. If someone comes and resides in AEVerse, it means they are also within Fern's soul. AEVerse is not expanding, not contracting, and not expanding. Water does not exist there but is instead a glitch liquid. Information about AccidentalErrorTale is uncertain/unknown. Information about this AU is not knowable using power/abilities. And AU cannot be observed, if observed there are only glitches. However, there are information sheets about AccidentalErrorTale that have been selected and written by Ink!Sans with the assistance of CORE!Frisk, but there may be errors and inaccuracies. Time there is glitched, time can flow slower, faster, or even stop, reverse, and there are quite a few paradoxes and contradictions of time, the cause and the result also sporadically glitch. Everything in AccidentalErrorTale is glitch solid, absolute black, constantly glitching and flashing colors (although this allows everything to be visible). Around them, there are various glitch effects. The inhabitants of AccidentalErrorTale experience something akin to being in hell. When Fern's soul is erased by water, the glitch liquid recreates it as it was initially. This means that the glitch liquid also restores everything in Fern's soul/AU, including planets, all creatures, etc. Everything in there can also randomly teleport, but only within the AccidentalErrorTale.
Currently, there are only over 40-50 people (Those who possess physical souls. In AEVerse, special people called witches possess heart-shaped physical souls, while normal people do not) and over 300 monsters found by CORE!Frisk and Ink!Sans in AEVerse.
- Save & Load Error: They have been corrupted and Fern can't use them.
Form[]
The Highest Determination Form[]
When Fern/Chara shows a high level of sheer determination, their color from absolute black to their original color. The Glitch effects surrounding Fern now form a two-dimensional vertical plane behind them, continuously changing the glitches. Regardless of the viewing angle, the front of the 2D glitch effect always faces the viewer, and Fern always appears above this effect. This creates the impression that Fern is on a separate layer (the second layer), while the 2D glitch effects are on the bottom layer (the first layer). Maintaining this form requires Fern to uphold a high level of determination continuously. The red aura began to appear around them. Their faces sometimes turned black, with their eyes, nose, and mouth all disappearing, but at the same time, a red " -_- " expression appeared in the place of their eyes, yet they could still see and speak normally. For Chara, the expression on their face was always "=)". Fern only needs to be in a state of high determination for a moment and they will continuously stay in this state for 30 minutes while gradually returning to their original state.
- In this form/status, Fern/Fern can use their willpower to cause themselves (and the Glitch Substance) to continuously glitch and chaos for a very short period of time and instantly teleport randomly without feeling any pain other than goosebumps.
- Their souls will become more stable and everything inside will gradually regain its original color instead of being absolutely black, becoming more stable and less glitchy.
- Fern/Chara can create save points and can reload everything back to that save point anywhere, but sometimes they glitch and become unusable. The scope of Save & Load's influence depends on Fern's willpower and determination.
- Fern's body now is only sometimes shaking/trembling from glitches and lag.
- The chance of them occasionally changing appearance randomly and continuously chaotically at random intervals is very rare.
- The Glitch noise comes with a slightly smaller Fern's voice, at least their voice is easier to understand.
- The Glitch effects around them also seem a bit quieter
- Less prone to Glitch Status, Image/sprite Lock, and Glitch Causality.
- Fern can transform their outfit into any outfit they want. When they lose determination and strong will, the outfit will return to its original state.
- Fern/Chara can easily manipulate and do much more with the Glitch Substance/themselves, such as making it/themselves non-immutable to individuals they select and allow merely by will, smoothly transforming the appearance of the Glitch Substance or ÆVs through the mind, and so on.
- Can control the randomness of the capabilities, phenomena, states of the Glitch Substance, such as being able to actively trigger or deactivate any ability/capability, phenomenon, state, or control the random behavior of a capability, phenomenon, state, being able to use the capability, phenomenon, state without it operating randomly. However, using these capabilities, phenomena, states accurately requires constant focus to control the randomness of the capabilities, phenomena, states being used, with higher-level/powerful capabilities, phenomena, states being even more difficult to manipulate/control, unless Fern/Chara practices more.
Things/Objects Created From Determination[]
They can create anything (in the white sense) they want just through sheer determination. From the smallest objects to large structures, they have the ability to create them all. The maximum size of the things they can create remains undefined, and they always exhibit a red color and glitch effect.
When they slash vigorously, they generate a glitch slash that continuously alternates between red and black, with glitch effects surrounding it. The slash moves toward the direction where Fern slashes, sometimes at random speeds or in completely unpredictable directions. It can cut through and affect everything in its path, surpassing or negating all or most levels of durability.
Targets struck by the slash experience temporary freezing in a glitch state, surrounded by glitch effects, for a brief period. Afterward, these targets enter a delayed state, where their actions - such as healing, talking, or moving - are slowed down or postponed for a random duration. Occasionally, the slashes they create may be invisible, passing through objects without causing any damage. These attacks can even manifest before Fern physically executes them or hit the target without apparent impact due to cause-and-effect glitches. Sometimes, the slash itself may also experience delays.
Occasionally, the strikes or slashes created by their objects created from their determination can cleave through the layers of spacetime and dimension. Forge rifts in the fabric of reality. Around these rifts, everything - except water - is affected and experiences glitches and disruptions, including Fern. Unpredictable glitches and transformations occur within this zone. Objects with sharp corners, such as triangles or squares, get stretched and drawn into the rift, gradually pulling the entire object along.
Conversely, objects without sharp corners, like spherical shapes, experience distortion at random angles, turning into sharp edges that are also pulled into the rift. This rift not only engulfs various objects but also disrupts the surrounding space-time or dimension. Within the affected areas, the usual laws and rules no longer apply. The rift leads the absorbed objects to the AEVerse. Eventually, the rift disappears randomly over time or upon contact with water.
Erasure The Timeline[]
Fern/Chara has the ability to summon a 2D button with the text "Erase" through sheer willpower, with two golden colors surrounding the erase text. When this button is pressed, the timeline of any AU that Fern/Chara is currently in will be completely erased. However, the erasure of the timeline does not always go smoothly. Sometimes glitches can occur, causing the erasure to happen unexpectedly or only partially erase the timeline, less than half. After using it, they will appear in a different timeline of the AU they were in, right at the location they were after using the erase button. Out!Code is not affected by this ability.
Personal Age Manipulation[]
Fern/Chara can manipulate their own personal physical age with their will (Below their original age). This ability sometimes malfunctions and glitches, causing conversions to sometimes go wrong.
Mind Fusion Form[]
When Chara disintegrates herself into dust through thought and will, she automatically fusion with Fern’s mind world/mind. This process created an entirely new Fusion Form of both. The Fusion Form would have twice the determination compared to the combined determination of Fern and Chara, capable of maintaining a high state/form of determination at a level higher than either Fern or Chara at almost any time, thus easily manipulating the high-level the Glitch Substance but not definitively higher or lower than the Glitch Substance, or at least on par or nearly so, possessing the skills of both Fern and Chara. The mind fusion form can at any time split back into Fern and Chara at will.
Fara[]
The fusion of both minds resulted in ‘Fara’, who prefers feminine pronouns. Fern's appearance/body does not change when she manifests, but she will always transform/change her appearance/body to match herself, Fern, and Chara, during moments of high determination. She excels at this transformation.
Her physical description aligns with that of a woman: she stands 1.96m. Long red stylish coat with a tight black bandeau underneath. Black shorts. Red high boots and thigh-high black stockings - although sometimes she forgets to make them. Her silver-white dynamic bob hair, and one eye is red and the left eye is yellow. It's rare to see her with both eyes closed for an extended period of time.
Initially, Fara’s appearance drew inspiration from Fern’s favorite character, Dante from Devil May Cry, with only an adjustment to the eye color. However, Chara expressed dissatisfaction and proposed a redesign - a female version of Dante DMC3:DA with additional adjustments. Fern had no objections and agreed to the proposal.
Fara retains Fern’s kindness and generosity, but she expresses them selectively - towards those she deems worthy or those who can benefit her. She possesses a playful, sometimes childish humor and enjoys trying new things. Adventure and exploration appeal to her; she relishes overcoming challenges. Self-confident and appreciative of her abilities, she believes in solving problems independently, without external guidance. She remains steadfast in her goals, whether noble or nefarious, unafraid to manipulate others to achieve them.
Fara’s decisiveness and intelligence allow her to control situations. She bases judgments on logic and reason, with an exceptional memory and quick learning ability. Her extremely high adaptability drives continuous self-improvement. An active individual, she maintains an optimistic mindset while skillfully utilizing her abilities to achieve objectives. She maintains control over her emotions and actions very well. Fara shares interests with both Fern and Chara.
When threatened or hurt, Fara becomes extremely dangerous, displaying cold cruelty towards those she dislikes. Her interests always come first. She uses her everything she has to win over those who can be useful. Fara craves respect and admiration, attracted only to individuals with similar natures and the capacity to benefit her. Even when she cannot find such a person, she remains self-loving. She discriminating against those with unattractive appearances, lack of intelligence, or non-human characteristics (such as Sanses). Unlike Chara, she does not hatred for humanity, influenced by Fern’s positive personality after the mind fusion.
Relationships[]
AU #1427 - Unnamed[]
(This alternate universe has now been erased, presumably by Error!Sans, after it became an alternate universe devoid of any inhabitants following Fern's incident)
Carmen[]
Fern and Carmen share a special bond/relationship, where Carmen is not only a protector like a mother/big sister but also an endless source of inspiration for Fern. The love Carmen has for Fern is unconditional and comprehensive, always caring, watching over, and protecting him from all dangers. Fern, with deep affection, regards Carmen as an irreplaceable sister, someone who has etched a deep mark on his heart and mind.
Even though Carmen is no longer by his side, her memory remains vivid and unchanged in Fern’s mind to the point that Chara always sees her appear in the world of Fern's mind almost never disappearing. The image of Carmen, along with the love and care she left behind, becomes a powerful force that helps Fern become determined, overcome all challenges, continue to exist, and protect the values she taught.
Multiverse[]
CORE!Frisk[]
(Rework in Progress)
Corrupted!Nightmare[]
When Fern accidentally encountered Corrupted!Nightmare, they came into direct contact with Nightmare and created an Æ version of Nightmare when Nightmare pulled them back to ask what the heck they were. Then Fern ran away, leaving the two Nightmares to sort it out themselves.
From the first meeting, Fern was drawn in by the eerie vibes of Nightmare. They couldn't take their eyes off its coolness and copied Nightmare's vibes, creating similar vibes behind their backs.
AccidentalError!Chara[]
After being replaced for the first time by Chara when Fern's lv exceeded 20 for a long time, and when Fern returned, CORE!Frisk told Fern that they had suddenly changed like a different person and had panicked, causing chaos everywhere they randomly appeared before entering the void and losing consciousness. CORE!Frisk speculated and said that perhaps Chara had replaced them when their lv exceeded 20, and Fern knew about the existence of Chara or AccidentalError!Chara, and referred to Chara as their second mind/personality. Then one day, while Fern was concentrating on reading a book, Chara's voice suddenly appeared in their mind and told them to read another book. Fern then startled and carefully considered whether it was their thought until Chara confirmed it, and then they began to communicate with each other through thoughts.
Fern and Chara have a fairly stable and close relationship. They not only consider each other as intimate friends but also as close conversation partners. However, despite this relationship developing beautifully, Fern still struggles to prevent Chara when she becoming too powerful and intentionally causing destruction. Chara often dominates everywhere she goes whenever she replaces Fern, which makes Fern feel insecure. In addition, there are times when Fern feels stuck by something and doesn’t know what to do, Chara will give suggestions and advice to help Fern overcome difficult situations. Fern is sometimes called a “bookworm” by Chara. Sometimes Fern can’t contact Chara by thought, while Chara can still hear their thoughts, or vice versa.
