Cutter!Chara is a Chara out-code variant created by Zaylephant. They are one of the only inhabitants of an AU that used to be called UnderSeam, however it has been reduced to a Void. After being found by Core!Frisk, they now live in the Omega Timeline with Core acting as a mentor. They now act as Protector, repairing various AUs with the help of their brother.
Biography[]
Chara and their brother seem to have appeared out of nowhere, in their empty universe, which perhaps wasn't always so empty... One day, a small figure appeared in it: it was Core!Frisk. After lengthy introductions, they invited them to join the Omega Timeline, which they obviously accepted. To this day, Core have never revealed what happened in their universe, which they named UnderSeam. Shortly afterwards, they began their roles as Protectors, still under Core's responsibility, who sent them on missions across the Multiverse, their abilities being rather useful for what they had to do to repair other universes, and also gave them a book of 10 rules they had written "The Little Protector’s Handbook", telling them what they shouldn't do as Protectors. They met friends and enemies alike, including Vessel!Frisk, who would become their arch nemesis. Right now, they're still looking for AUs to help.

Appearance[]
Cutter have a rather classic appearance, standing around 1.50 m tall and weighing 50 kg. They have a semi-long brown haircut, although the inside is a bright red. Their cheekbones are pink and their eyes are bright red. They're wearing a fairly short green sweatshirt with lots of stitching and yellow stripes. Underneath, they wear a black tank top and black gloves that go up to their forearms. Their shorts are brown with heart-shaped seams. They're also wearing black tights that ride up one leg. Their shoes are red sneakers. Finally, they’re adorned with a necklace featuring a golden heart.
Personality[]
At first glance, they may seem like a pretentious jerk, but if you look past their little flaws, they’re really just a big kid with a huge imagination. Despite their mediocre performance as a protector, they can be surprisingly brilliant when it comes to devising all sorts of mischievous schemes. This side may also suggest that Cutter are smarter than they look, as suggested by their extensive vocabulary, their culinary skills, as well as their talent for reading other people's feelings. They’re quite optimistic, despite a certain cynicism about the multiverse and the creations within it. They often expects others to act positively. They also seem happy to help, going out of their way to help others. Cutter are generally very protective of those closest to them, especially their brother Asriel.
Despite their good intentions and positive attitude, Chara are very sarcastic, especially towards those outside their circle of friends. They often make mischievous remarks, ranging from the relatively harmless to the extremely blunt and rude. This kind of comment seems to be impulsive, and sometimes they can't do anything about it. They also have an over-inflated ego, which is both their flaw and their weakness. When they don't feel comfortable in their ego, they can be very unpleasant, and will also tend to do things to look "cool", which often make them look ridiculous.
Abilities[]
Obviously, Cutter's main power is their Code Scissors. First and foremost, Cutter's blades are extraordinarily sharp. They can cut through solid materials with ease, including metals and tough substances. This ability gives them great offensive power, enabling them to neutralize obstacles and defeat their opponents.
- Code cutting: The main ability of their scissors is their ability to cut code, whether in-code or out-code. They can delimit an area to be cut by drawing its perimeter with their scissors. It can also simply cut out what they wants to harvest (often individuals or small objects). What they cuts out is either directly erased or stored in the code shared with their brother.
- Dimensional cutting: Cutter's blades have the power to create dimensional cracks. They can slide them through space, creating tears in reality that can serve as portals or passageways to other places or dimensions. This ability allows they to move quickly or transport objects or people over short distances.
- Shared code: Cutter share part of their code with their brother, enabling them to pass on what they cut, and to have a small reserve. However, this power also means that if one of them is hacked, the other will most certainly suffer the consequences.
- Pyrokinesis: They have the power to produce red flames, similar to the Dreemurr family's attacks. This power makes up for they lack of ranged attacks.
