Sherpherd Barkes is a canine monster that is a well-known detective in New Home. To solve crimes, he uses his excellent scent, as his eyes are not as great. They are better than those of Doggo and the Dogis however, and he wears glasses to make up for his poor eyesight. He is based on Sherlock Holmes.
