Xander is a human OC created by Determination Knight (aka DtK). His inspiration came from the AU Glitchtale by Camila Cuevas, where Xander was originally a different soul, called Hope. Apparently DtK made this Xander after he made the Hope bearer a separate character. The reasoning behind this was currently unknown.
Background[]
Xander was the 8th human to fall before Frisk, falling into the Underground exactly 1 month before Frisk. Xander has done only one route: a Neutral Run. But what makes Xander's Neutral run different from Frisk's is that Xander stopped Asgore from dying by flowey's hands. After the run, Xander decided to stay in the Underground, living with Toriel, sometimes going to see Sans and Papyrus, or even Asgore. One month later, he met frisk in Snowdin Town. They became friends when Frisk finally did a Pacifist Run, but became enemies if Frisk done a Genocide Run. Xander lived a peaceful life with his friends in his AU, and decided to make some new friends. So he teleported to different Au's, meeting new friends, met and eventually broke up with Storyshift!Chara, and made some enemies along the way. He does return to his AU now and then, but Xander will always help others.

Appearance[]
Without his armor, he has a white shirt with a blue deltarune on it, as well as a blue jacket. This isn't changed in the Reboot.
With his armor on, he resembles Kris in the Dark World, but his armor is red. With the Reboot, his Armor is renamed the Red Knight's Armor, and is mostly based on medieval knight's armor. It also has a cape and a helmet.
When Xander fell into the underground at age 10, he wore a blue long sleeve shirt that had white stripes, blue shorts, white socks and light gray shoes.
While in the Underground, Xander obtained the Fallen Cadet's Armor, which was a rusty set of armor. The armor was a shiny silver with a Deltarune logo on it. The armor was light, the pieces of the armor were small, but small enough for Xander to fit.
Personality[]
Xander is nice to those that he is friends with. He hates it when others lie to him, and also hates being shipped. He hates being interrupted by others as well. His personality wasn't affected by the Reboot.
Abilities (Child)[]
- Magic Command: With the Magic Command, which is fueled by Xander's Determination, Xander can use abilities used by certain monsters, regardless if he spares or kills them.
Magic Command Abilities[]
- Red Flame: A red fireball that inflicts a 5 second Burn effect onto enemies. Learned after Xander spared Toriel. It does double damage against snow based enemies, and does triple damage against Undyne. This move gains an upgrade called the Triple Flame, which fires three fireballs at once. He obtains the upgrade after escaping from Undyne in Waterfall. This move has a 1 turn cooldown.
- Slowed Gravity: Learned after "dating" Papyrus. This move is the predecessor of Xander's Gravity Crush ability, slowing down the target's next attack. This move has a 1 turn cooldown.
- Magic Blades: Learned after hanging out with Undyne. Xander summons multiple swords (5 total), and fire them forwards. This move has a 3 turn cooldown.
- Red Sphere: Learned after obtaining the Empty Gun and using the Yellow Soul mode multiple times. Xander charges up a red sphere, which is sent forwards. When fully charged it does damage equal to double of Xander's Attack stat.
Abilities (Teen)[]
- Soul Blasters: Red Hearts that fire a beam. He self-taught himself this ability. It's stronger than Sans's Gaster Blasters, but not by much.
- Knife and Sword Projectiles: Xander can summon Knives and Swords and use them like Sans's bones or Undyne's spears. The Swords deal 10 damage and the Knives deal 5. The Sword Projectiles are slower than the Knives, so Xander is more or less used to summoning the Knives for projectiles.
- Knife Projectile Add-on: Explosive Knives. Xander can make his Projectile Knives dark red with a bright red aura, making them explosive. He can do this with his sword, but he perfers to use Knives as projectiles.
- Red Spears: His old first weapon and projectile, since he was training with Undyne. The spears deal 7 damage each.
- Knight's Slashes: Red slash projectiles fired from Xander's Sword and Knife. Xander can fire a bunch of them at once, but the more he fires, the more magic he loses.
- Great Knight's Slash: A large slash that drains a big amount of Xander's magic, but deals lots of damage.
- Red Knight's Blade Beam: A red beam fired from the tip of Xander's Knife or Sword. It does the same damage as a single Soul Blaster if he uses his sword, deal small damage if he uses the Knife, and does big damage if he uses it with the Greatsword.
- Special Attack: Frago-Nuclear Impact. Xander stabs his blade into the ground and creates a massive explosion, dealing massive damage.
- Frago-Nuclear Overload (Pre-Reboot): Xander awakened this power when he fought Mobix, the former reaper. It was a stronger version of Impact, dealing even more damage than before. This move shattered Mt. Winter and finished off Mobix once and for all. It was exclusive to the Pre-Reboot Xander, but it is possible for Xander to learn this attack again.
- Hyperspeed Dash Cut: Xander dashes forwards, creating a line that explodes. He can dash up to three times.
- Heat-Seeking Slashes (Knife Ability): Xander fires a slash that moves towards his target. He can fire up to 3 at once.
- Eruption Stab (Knife Ability): Xander stabs his knife to the ground and creates a group of knives that erupt from the ground around Xander.
- Soul Mode: Slash Mode. Xander turns his target's soul Dark Red, turning the battle board into a 3X3 grid. Xander will slash through this grid, and the target has to dodge the slashes. Xander can also stab while putting his target in this soul mode.
Weapons[]
- Wooden Sword: Xander's starting weapon when he fell into the Underground. Has an attack of 2.
- Fallen Cadet's Blade: A gift from Gerson the turtle. Has an attack of 10.
- Determined Knife: A red magic Knife, summoned by Xander. Has an attack of 9.
- Red Knight's Blade: A sword made of pure magic. Has an attack of 10 and can transform into a Greatsword with 20 ATK.
- Empty Gun: Though not owned by Xander, he did use it when he fought Frisk to protect Asgore in a Genocide timeline.
- Red Spear: A weapon Xander used when he trained with Undyne. He used this for about 2 months before he was able to summon his sword.
Armor[]
- Xander's Locket: A silver locket with a photo of his famiy. Increases DEF by 1.
- Wooden Shield: The Shield that Xander used while he was in the Underground. Has a DEF of 2.
- Fallen Cadet's Shield and Armor: An armor worn by a fallen Royal Guard Cadet. It's a bit rusty due to it being from the war, but it's still a strong armor. The Shield provides 5 Def, and the Armor provides +9 Defense.
- Red Knight's Shield: A shield that Xander can summon at will. Provides 5 Defense.
- Determined Red Knight's Armor: An Armor that Xander can summon at will. It takes a physical appearance and an aura appearance. Increases Xander's Defense by 50.
- Item: Wrist Teleporter. Xander can travel to AU's and teleport with this device. Due to this, he cannot teleport using magic or create magic portals.
Scrapped Content[]
- FILE0 Skill: Xander CAN change his stats, but only if the situation calls for it.
- Determination Chromas: There were supposed to be a gift from Gaster after Xander left the Void with Kris. They were removed because it doesn't fit Xander's character.
- Void Jacket: A jacket made of Void matter. Scrapped cause it didn't make much sense.
- Alternate Story: Xander was supposed to do 3 timelines: 2 neutrals and a pacifist. In the Pacifist Run, Xander offered Asriel his soul, but was stopped by Gaster. The Pacifist Run was the 2nd timeline Xander did. After the Pacifist Run, Xander did the Neutral Run. Another scrapped idea was that Xander was going to be stuck in the void until Frisk saved them, where Xander would do the Neutral Run in the Background section.
- Scrapped Genocide Xander Fight: Xander was supposed to fight Frisk when they were Level 20, but after they got to Asgore though. Xander would be overpowered, but would get the help of the 6 souls, who remember Xander saving them from Omega Flowey. This is now part of a non-canon Young Xander Genocide battle.
- Scrapped Original Xander Background: This was for when Xander didn't have a full backstory. He was supposed to be a man trapped in the void, where Gaster lied to Xander about collecting 500 human souls to free Xander. The fight Xander has with Kris would be a "3 phase" fight, with the "third phase" being Xander against his own Hate. This is now scrapped due to Xander's new Background.
Sudden Changes to Xander: His Reboot[]
The Reboot: Xander got rebooted, thus his backstory and abilities got changed. His appearance also has changed, and for once, there is new information about him in battle.

Xander's ex-girlfriend. She broke up with him for reasons that won't be specified. She taught Xander how to summon his Knife Projectiles and Tall Blades.
Natsuki (DDLC)[]
How did Xander end up in DDLC? Cause Storyshift Chara introduced Xander to it. She took Xander there and met the 4 main characters, Monika, Natsuki, Yuri and Sayori. He got along well with Natsuki, who he called "Nat" at times. They're doing fine. Also Xander is currently dating Natsuki and has retired from being a hero ever since, but he won't back down from summoning his sword again.
Sans (Undertale)[]
He likes to spend time with Classic Sans, talking about alternate universes.

Maybe the most cheerful of the sanses he's ever came acrossed from. Sometimes he'd visit Blue just so he could play with him.
Galvatronus Enderus (Not an Undertale OC, but one from a server)[]
Galvatronus Enderus, or Grim for short, is a monster taht was made to be the Devourer of Souls. Instead he spends his days living. He is very strong, and Xander considers him an excellent rival.

The Warrior/Assassin of the group. He wields 2 swords. They met one day and decided to fight and find out who was better. They became best buds ever since.
Jack[]
A very good Determination User who just asked to join Xander and Abdo. Xander suggested a trio, in which the 2 men agreed.
MOBIX
The former Reaper, he betrayed the Determination Trio. He was talented too. Could wipe out the entire squad, and when he fought Xander on Mt. Winter, he accidentally awakened Xander's new special attack, Frago-Nuclear Overload, a far stronger version of his original Frago-Nuclear Impact.
Zakara[]
The first monster who joined the group. He had Determination inside of him, and could control it. He is now the newest member of the Squad.

- Xander was originally based off of Frisk, Chara and Copper Lightvale of Glitchtale, and used to have the power to heal others.
- Sometimes, Xander is called a "Kris knockoff" due to his appearance. This was the main reason for his new sprites.
